Andy Peutherer
Andy Peutherer is a young Glasgow based artist constantly producing new work with a wide range of paintings and photography from Hebridean landscape paintings and photography to abstract geometric paintings, film-influenced abstract pop art paintings, wildlife paintings, music culture paintings and architecture inspired paintings.
His paintings have a very distinctive style created with a mix of mediums such as spray paint, acrylic, emulsion and through experiments with cleaning products from under the kitchen sink.
His continuing series of contemporary landscape and seascape paintings are inspired by the Scottish landscape, particularly the islands of The Outer Hebrides such as Isle of Lewis, Isle of Harris, Isle of Skye, Isle of Arran and The West Coast and highlands of Scotland.
