I’m pleased to see it’s a proper tumshie lantern. That’s what made this country great- painful hours of attempting to hollow out a freezing cold turnip with a blunt knife. These pumpkin ones are a cop out- they’re half empty already!!
Not over here or in frog land they aint,LL They are b****y hars to cut into and to empty out. Late hubby cheated whils’t helping me cut the holes for eyes ,nose etc,he used attachement normally to cut wood on his power drill–brilliant 5 mins and it was done!(he actually enjoyed doing that)
Well there’s no accounting for taste taddoe
. My first thought was like yours landlady, thank goodness for an honest sonsie tumshie face in a sea of furrin squashes!
Good to see the neep heid lantern.
That’ll keep the ghouls away beter than thon pumpkins.
