Iglue is 21 year old Niaal Masson from Stornoway, Isle of Lewis.
He’s been writing music for this project since mid 2009. Having lived on the island most of his life, this is where he draw most of his inspiration from. He tries to dress like a fisherman but fails dramatically and also write poems and stories, which he hopes to incorporate into his music.
His new track This Island can be found by clicking the link below and listening via his MySpace page. It’s a promising bit of acoustica, nice guitar, strings and a little bit of electronicness recalling rain and smells of sea-salt rust and people leaving lost but returning repaired.
Hopefully there’s more to come in 2010.
