Harris Tweed bonded Gabardine Sahara Trench Coat.

British designer Phoebe Philo is the woman behind the iconic Céline.

Paris born, London educated and graduate of Central St. Martin’s she cut her teeth at the career launching Chloe becoming the house’s seminal director from 2001-2006 before resigning.

Now at the helm of french luxury fashion house Céline, Philo has launched an AW11 collection with inspired by the ’50s and 60s British underground scene and heavily influenced by tweed.

And of course Harris Tweed is in there, supplied by HarrisTweed Hebrides.

Well worth perusing the lookbooks for Fall and Winter to catch a glimpse of more.
