The first release of iglue’s series of four new tracks.

The track is called The Modern Youth, I wrote the basis of the song about two years ago now, and it was a tricky track for me to get down. It’s about growing up in Stornoway and if you listen to the lyrics there are some little references, I’ll give you one: We would congregate on narrow streets….this line refers to the famous narrows in Stornoway. It’s not big and it’s not clever either, I know. But that’s where we used to hang around and get merry. It’s hopefully a song that people from Stornoway can associate with and it’s not completely positive either.

Enjoy!
