Another glaring oversight from The Croft is the lack of mention for the wonderful Iain Shaw.

A Stornoway cove now living in Glasgow, Iain sounds “like somebody trying to rip-off Death Cab For Cutie while pretending he can play guitar like Jose Gonzales”

I booked Iain for a rather rambunctious Xmas pub gig where his beautiful covers of punk, rock and pop classics were drowned by noisy blones in Santa hats. Then he lent me an old but classic racing bike which I gave to a friend who fell in love with it on the Harris Tweed Ride.

Anyway, I digress…

If you’re in London then check him (and his artist chum David Shrigley) out.
